Tolerance. The stretch and tolerance for or of a person is finite depending on the stress test that they were all subjected to at a young age.
Stress test or tolerance testing can occur around the topic of happiness, unhappiness, highs and lows, mids to mid micro mid ranges.
But why is it not a good thing to think that you can tolerate a lot more about your life or life in general when you really can’t. Why? Because as you stretch and are inaccurate with your own breaking point you then think you’re still operational when you’re actually really not.
Be careful to believe that you’re still operational just because your mind is working and your brain appears to not be harmed and are somewhat intact.
A way for you to know and test or recognise if your tolerance level has been maxed out is to see and observe for yourself just how rampant are your thoughts and inner thoughts or dialogue going.
Do you have a festive mind that goes on and on feeding you about how you should behave, where you should go, what you shouldn’t have done before, where you should go next…leaving you with no mental space to breathe and you’re all just filled with chatter?
Red flag it is actually not a sign of intelligence or intellect. It is more of a sign you are mentally maxed out and “haywiring” in a way.
If you’re not able to sit quietly, mentally silent, at any present moment to observe what is going on at that present moment…
Note to self: you’ve been maxed out and time to pull back to the basics of tolerance and just focus on what you are doing right now. And see if you can continue to keep your concentration or focus there without allowing your mind to take you to other places like “this is so stupid”, “what am I doing here” and the list goes on.
Allow yourself to relax your tolerance back to a normal level of norm where you’re more than able with absolute ease to operate without mental chatter and just be in the present moment.
Take note of yourself. And as you do so can you then get back to basics of noting as well as marking where your true and actual tolerances are at for yourself.
