The concept of a collective consciousness, similar to a hive mind, is no stranger to our current era. It’s the driving force behind major industries like science and technology, propelling us toward unprecedented levels of comfort and knowledge.
But have you ever wondered why this collective approach sometimes falters when pitted against other “hive minds?”
The answer lies in our understanding and connection to the collective consciousness.
We often believe we are part of it, when in reality, we may not be entirely connected.
The true collective consciousness is a unified front, a team that accepts everyone as they are, without judgment or expectations.
However, when this unity is disrupted by clashing ideas or a lack of understanding, it becomes evident how disconnected we truly are.
As a global society, these separations indicate how far we still need to go to truly “get there”.
You’ve likely heard the saying, “we are only as strong as our weakest link.” I often reflect on this, ensuring I’m not contributing to the formation of a weak link that could hold back our collective growth and happiness.
So, instead of trying to change the world in one fell swoop, I focus on changing myself for the better.
The goal is that my actions will inspire others to do the same in their own time at their own pace, gradually strengthening what were once our weakest areas.
Rather than spending time judging others, we can redirect that energy towards self-improvement.
It’s about being honest with:
- ourselves,
- recognizing our fears,
- feelings of isolation,
- and areas of ignorance.
Once we acknowledge these, we can seek help, own where we are really at and make changes for our betterment.
We are part of a collective consciousness, and every action we take matters.
By focusing on self-improvement, we can proudly contribute to the world’s betterment. I’ll leave others to do the same, knowing that everyone’s journey is unique.
It may seem grandiose, but isn’t it also profoundly true? Some people believe they can change the world without changing themselves, pointing fingers at others to make the change.
However, if only half of the population changes, and the other half refuses, we’re still left with polarities. This makes us inevitably inaccurate with our measure of change happening when there is still an equal existence of non-change.
The true path to a unified collective consciousness lies in personal change.
If we all focus on improving ourselves, the collective will naturally evolve, and polarities will cease to exist.
So, let’s start with ourselves and witness the ripple effect on our collective destiny.
